ThermoPlan® MZ Bricks of Klosterbeuren
Does your home need to consume as little energy as possible, achieve a good indoor climate, offer you protection and safety?
Thermal insulation, fire protection or sound insulation, find the right solution with our MZ90-G blocks! Maximum thermal insulation, good sound insulation, great stability, optimal moisture response and good quality with regard to fire protection are all present in the ThermoPlan® MZ90-G block. A durable building product with which you can build ecologically for the future. Brick is a natural material that has been used and always developed for centuries. Brick has always been created by the four elements fire, water, earth and air. For the MZ90-G block, we expanded the formula by one element: Rockwool® rockwool. Rockwool® stone wool is one of the most widely used materials for achieving thermal and acoustic insulation. This is mainly attributable to its optimal qualities: rock wool is nonflammable, water-resistant but breathable, resistant to aging, and insulates not only from heat and cold but also from noise. Other elements for thermal insulation on exterior walls are not necessary. ThermoPlan® MZ90-G block combines all raw materials with their advantages. The special stable covering developed from ceramic bricks is filled with the high-quality Rockwool® element and brings them together into one complete element. The hydrophobic (water-repelling) use of Brickrock® -rock wool insulation allows the wall to be resistant to moisture. The moisture that manages to penetrate is, through the rock wool, conveyed to the brick and diffuses through the capillary effect of the brick material itself to the outside. On the construction site, one should, as always when building with bricks, carefully cover the cracks at night, so as to prevent a large amount of water or snow from seeping into them. The massive brick structure of the MZ90-G block composed of margins about 2 cm thick ensures exceptional stability and great load-bearing capacity. The massive cover and compact center made of rock wool withstand mechanical stresses of all kinds such as shaking, sawing, drilling, milling, etc. without damage.

The final technical characteristics of masonry also depend to a great extent on detailing solutions. More detailed documentation can be requested directly from us. 1) With 20 mm light plaster on the outside and 10 mm lime or gypsum plaster on the inside. 2) Experimental evidence did not subsist. 3) The required amount of special mortar “Dünnbettmörtel” is included in the price of the blocks (using the V.Plus system also includes fiber mesh). |
